Scottoiler kits put money in your pocket

scottoiler kitsAnyone familiar with motorbikes knows that a clean and well lubricated chain is the key to sustained performance. You have the option of manually oiling the chain, but that requires a lot of periodic effort on your part which many tend to put off. This results in reduced efficiency, reduced chain and sprocket life and less than optimal performance. The best way to keep your motorbike working in peak condition is to install an automatic chain oiler system like the Scottoiler kit.

Scottoiler kit is a premium chain oiling system which is very easy to install and you can do it yourself. It is compatible with most bikes and bike specific installation instructions are available. It provides many benefits besides eliminating the hassle of manually oiling the chain:
  • Enhances the life of the chain and sprocket. If installed and used correctly you can expect a seven fold increase in chain and sprocket life.
  • Reduces chain problems and the resulting maintenance issues.
  • A well lubricated chain helps keep the motorbike working in peak condition with optimal efficiency.
  • All the above factors contribute to a significant savings in terms of time and money.
The Scottoiler kit comes in two versions, the vSystem and the eSystem. The vSystem is the basic system which is vacuum operated while the eSystem is an advanced electronically operated system. Both these systems are proven market leading products of their respective classes.

The Scottoiler vSystem

scottoiler vsystemThe Scottoiler vSystem operates using the engine vacuum. It does not take any power from the engine, so there is no need for you to worry on that front. The two main parts of this system are RMV (Reservoir Metering Valve) and an injector which does the actual oiling. It operates whenever the engine is running. The box comes with a bottle of chain lube which is good for 5000 miles. It also includes parts which are required for different types of installations. Some bikes may need special parts for installation and these are available from Scottoiler without any additional cost. Installation is a simple job which should take only an hour or two at the most. The oil flow rate is adjustable.

The Scottoiler eSystem

scottoiler esystemThe Scottoiler eSystem is electronically operated and is easier and quicker to install. It is an award winning advanced product and gives even better control on oil flow rate than the vSystem. Installation is as easy as hooking up the system to the motorbike battery and fixing the oiling and control units. There is no need to tamper with or modify the motorbike's electrical wiring.

The system has a vibration sensor which detects whether the motorbike is stationary or running and the type of road conditions. It gives constant feedback to the rider on its display and allows one touch adjustment to oil flow levels putting you in ultimate control. Scottoiler gives free adaptor upgrades in case they are necessary for installation on any particular motorbike, so there is no need to worry about any hidden installation costs.

Depending upon the type of installation and control that you prefer, you can pick one of these models. The vSystem needs no electrical connections and the eSystem does not require you to access the engine. The vSystem flow rate can be adjusted on the oiling unit while the eSystem gives dynamic control allowing you to do the same adjustment on the go with the control unit on the handlebar.

The oil reservoir on the eSystem is around 20% higher in capacity than the vSystem. The vSystem reservoir will hold enough oil for around 800 miles. You can enhance the range in either system by installing optional components.

Irrespective of the model you choose, you can rest assured that your Scottoiler system will perform well keeping your motorbike in excellent running condition. Install a Scottoiler kit on your motorbike and you can forget about motorbike chain problems.
